This is probably one of the funniest things I have ever seen. You thought the Doll Face masks that the Boston fans pulled out on A-Rod were bad? Well, yeah, they were, but this is great. Some innovative fans came up with the idea to distribute Jessica Simpson paper masks for the fans attending upcoming Cowboys games. I just hope this takes off, because I would love nothing more than to see a sea of Simpson masks on Sunday. Let’s face it, it’s win-win for all of us, we get to see Jessica’s face, and it’s damn funny, well except for Romo of course. Check out the site www.ruinromo.com

We’re carving out a little space on our site to create a blog. “Aren’t you already a blog?” Well, the answer to that question is yes. So, why do we need a seperate blog for our blog? As you know we try to deliver extensive articles on everything that we cover, and in the process of doing so, that is what you, the audience, has come to expect. This gives us a little place to let our ‘hair down’ and blow off a little steam. If we find a funny video, we’ll post it. If we want to post a paragraph about something that made us mad, we can do it. If we want to point you to a great article someone wrote, you guessed it, that’s what we’ll do.
It will also allow us to keep you informed on updates to blog, something that could have been used during the everlasting theme change, that is now finally over since we have settled in nicely with Brian Gardner’s Revolution theme. So, just check the Recent Posts Section on the homepage in the bottom of the sidebar to see the most recent updates.

You’re the second biggest media market in the country. Your owner has tons of cash (and actually invests it in his team). You always seem to have at least a halfway-decent farm system. Despite all this, your team hasn’t won a playoff series in 20 years. Hey, Dodger fans, why aren’t you up in arms?

It’s not normally my practice to call somebody out for something they have written. We are all entitled to our opinions, and even if you don’t agree with what someone has to say, it doesn’t make that point of view any less valid. My theory on these things is to live and let live, if you don’t like a certain author, don’t read them.

Seeing Jim Edmonds shake hands with Kevin Towers was surreal, if not troubling. The longest tenured Cardinal would not be soaring around center field snagging sure doubles from the sky. It was a collision of the past glory days, recent in time, but now distant in memory, with what is ultimately a clandestine future. Over the past three months one of baseball’s proudest franchises disintegrated before our eyes. Walt Jocketty was fired as general manager, and in an effort to make sure that no relic of the 2006 World Series remained; John Mozeliak’s first order of business was to not act at all, letting David Eckstein walk out the door without offering him arbitration.
